If you are experiencing issues, upon completing your file compression, click the View Archive button to view the file and email the compressed file with the program of your choice.
Q:Why are some of my files not compressing very much?
A:Some file types compress better than others. Certain media files such as picture files, music files, and movie files are already highly compressed file formats. You can edit your default compression level in the Settings. Using the High or Ultra settings will help compress your files more.
Q:Why can't I preview the list of files after selecting a compressed folder?
A:In order to preview files from Elite Unzip, the files must already be on your computer and unzipped. This also helps prevent the possibility of opening potentially dangerous files from an unknown source.
Q:What is the difference between the different compression levels? Which one should I use?

A:Higher levels of compression take more time, but are more effective making larger files small. Lower levels of compression are very quick, but are not as good at reducing the size of your files.

  1. None - No compression

  3. Low - Low compression level
